Are We There Yet?
I created this carousel structure to document the journey that my family took for many summers during my childhood from our busy city lives to a favorite lake in the mountains. During the seven hour car trip, my younger sister would ask “are we there yet?” at least every ten minutes for the duration of the ride. Images are watercolored and hand cut, and text is printed digitally.
